Sixteen Mayfield specialists named to regional or national 'Top Doctors' lists

CINCINNATI – The Mayfield Clinic proudly reports that 16 of its specialists have been named to the latest regional and national lists of leading physicians. Two Mayfield neurosurgeons are included in the 2017 national listing of Best Doctors in America®: Ronald Warnick, MD, a brain tumor specialist, and Mario Zuccarello, MD, a stroke and cerebrovascular disease specialist. Their names were published in the December 2016 issue of Cincy magazine.

Sixteen Mayfield specialists are included in Cincinnati Magazine's 2016 listing of Top Doctors who practice in the eight counties that make up the Greater Cincinnati region (Hamilton, Warren, Butler, and Clermont in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, and Kenton in Kentucky; and Dearborn in Indiana). The list, published in the January issue, includes the following Mayfield physicians:

 Neurosurgery

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Interventional Radiology

In a third, continuously updated listing of outstanding physicians, six Mayfield specialists were named to the Castle Connolly Top Doctors list, which was developed by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., publisher of America's Top Doctor's®. The doctors are Dr. Abruzzo (interventional radiology), and Drs. Mandybur, Ringer, Skidmore, Warnick and Zuccarello (neurosurgery).

Mark Farrington, CEO of the Mayfield Clinic, commended the physicians for providing superior care to their patients every day. "Our doctors have earned the high regard of their peers through a shared culture of customer service, continuous improvement, and treatment that is carefully considered and expertly delivered," Mr. Farrington said. "As an independent practice, we can also ensure that our patients are treated at the facility that best serves their needs," says Mayfield Chairman Arthur Arand, MD.
