Mayfield Brain & Spine ramps up services at Springboro office

SPRINGBORO – Mayfield Brain & Spine is adding services at its new office in Springboro, in the Dayton area. Patients with brain tumors, trigeminal neuralgia and blood vessel disorders now can make appointments to consult with neurosurgeon Dr. Ronald Warnick at the office at 55 Pinnacle Point Drive, near the Austin Landing retail center. Mayfield has long been the leading independent neurosurgery practice in Greater Cincinnati.

A Mayfield neurosurgeon since 1991, Dr. Warnick is one of the nation's leading experts in the use of Gamma Knife radiosurgery to treat brain tumors and trigeminal neuralgia, the often-misunderstood neurological condition marked by episodes of severe facial pain. At Springboro, he will extend Mayfield's nationally known practice for brain tumor treatment to patients in the Dayton area.

"At Mayfield, our commitment is to serve patients when and where they need care," said Mark Vorherr, Mayfield's chief executive officer. "Mayfield already serves many patients who live in the Dayton region, and Dr. Warnick will help extend those services to patients with cranial disorders at our Springboro location."

Mayfield will continue to ramp up services in Springboro this summer. Patients in the Dayton area already have access to services from Dr. Ryan Godinsky, a fellowship-trained spine surgeon, plus a full physical therapy team and on-site X-ray services. The location is Mayfield's sixth patient office, joining five locations in Greater Cincinnati.
