Dr. Ryan Godinsky joins Mayfield Brain & Spine

Spine surgeon will serve patients in soon-to-open Springboro office

CINCINNATI AND SPRINGBORO – Dr. Ryan Godinsky has joined Mayfield Brain & Spine, adding a fellowship-trained spine surgeon to the region's leading independent practice.

Dr. Godinsky will see patients at Mayfield's new office in Springboro, near Dayton, when that office opens later this spring. Dr. Godinsky will perform surgeries at the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown and Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville. Currently, he is seeing patients at Mayfield's West Chester office. Dr. Godinsky specializes in the treatment of degenerative spine conditions with expertise in minimally invasive surgery, including spinal fusion, decompression, discectomy, artificial disc replacement and sacroiliac joint fusion.

In addition to patient clinics with Dr. Godinsky, on-site advanced imaging will facilitate quick diagnosis of spine issues, and a full physical therapy team will provide conservative treatment to help patients relieve pain and build strength.

After earning his medical degree from The University of Toledo College of Medicine, Dr. Godinsky completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Cleveland Clinic – Akron General Medical Center. He continued his training with a fellowship in spine surgery at the Spine Institute of Arizona in Scottsdale.

Dr. Godinsky has been in private practice since 2018, most recently at the Spine Institute of Arizona, where he also served as co-director of the spine fellowship program. Dr. Godinsky is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society.
